Protective Caps for Push-Pull Connectors


Camarillo, CA – Binder-USA is pleased to introduce protective caps for the Series 430, push-pullconnectors. When mated to a male or female connector, a cap will provide IP67-rated environmentalprotection. These caps make the push-pull connectors ideal for use in commercial and industrial fields.

The cap is designed to provide an IP67-rated environmental protection from liquids and debris while theconnector is detached from its mating connector. Each cap is made of brass, which fits securely to thepush-pull connector or receptacle, and attaches to the cable or panel via a polyurethane rubber strap toavoid any loss of parts. The new protective caps are available for male and female field-attachableconnectors and panel-mount receptacles.

Protective Caps for M8 Panel Connectors


Camarillo, CA – Binder-USA has released protective caps for its Series 718, M8 panel connectors. The caps provide IP67-rated environmental protection for un-mated panel-mount sockets. The M8 connectors are used for sensors in the automation industry.

Each protective cap attaches directly via a loop to the panel-mounted connector eliminating the need for screws. The cap is designed to provide an IP67-rated environmental protection from liquids and debris while the panel connector is detached from its mating connector. The new M8 protective caps are available for both male and female connectors.

MPE-Garry Raises Power Density on Connectors


Camarillo, CA – MPE-Garry, a sister company of Binder-USA, has released a PCB power connector with an increased power density. These connectors are ideal for board-to-board connection in the solar panel industry.

Each connector is built on a 5.08 mm pitch and has a rated current of 16 Amps per contact. It has a continuous operating voltage of 600 VAC and can withstand temperatures of -40ºC to 105ºC. These new parts are available as board-to-board connectors with 2, 4, 6 and 8 contacts for surface-mount, through-hole and pin-in-paste technology.

MPE-Garry produces and markets primarily PCB connectors in many styles and pitches and with various termination options.

Micro Push-Pull Connectors


Camarillo, CA – Binder-USA is pleased to introduce the Series 420 micro push-pull connectors. These connectors are the newest addition to the Binder-USA sub-miniature product line. This style of connector is commonly used for small applications in the medical and commercial industries.

The push-pull cable connectors have a maximum diameter of 9.5mm and accept cables with diameters ranging from 3 to 4mm. Field-attachable and panel mount connectors are available in male and female versions with 3, 4 and 5 gold-plated contacts. When properly mated the connection is sealed to an IP67 rating protecting from the ingress of liquids and debris.

Network Cable Connectors Accept Larger Wire Sizes


CAMARILLO, CA – Binder-USA has announced its newest addition of 7/8” cable connectors with 2.5mm terminal cross-section capacity to the Series 820 field-attachable connectors. The increase in terminal size now accepts wire sizes up to 14 AWG. With the larger terminal size the 7/8” connectors are well suited for a variety of Fieldbus and Ethernet network applications.

The 7/8” connectors are offered with 5 gold-plated contacts in male and female versions with straight and right-angle options. Cables up to 14mm in diameter can be connected to straight versions and up to 12mm cables can be connected to right-angle versions. Wires are attached with screw-type terminals. When properly mated the connectors are IP67-rated assuring the connection is protected from liquids and debris. To make the system complete, mating front-mounted receptacles are offered with pre-attached wires.
